Winter 2011-2012 Novice,
Intermediate and MCHL Leagues
The season will start November 4th and continue through the last weekend of April.
Game times are still being worked out but approximate times are:

Friday nights at 8:30 PM, 9:45 PM and 11:00 PM
Saturday nights at 6:00 PM, 7:15 PM, 8:30 PM, 9:45 PM and 11:00 PM
Sunday nights at 2:30 PM, 3:45 PM, 5:00 PM, 6:15 PM, 7:30 PM, 8:45 PM and 10:00 PM
The Novice program is for all players that have 1 to 4 years of hockey playing experience, while the Intermediate program is for players that have worked up from the Novice program but are not quite ready to move to the MCHL program. The MCHL program is for players who want to play a faster and “slightly” more physical game than what is offered by the Intermediate program. If you are unsure of the league you should register for, please contact any of the people listed below.

Early Registration and Full Payment Deadline

If you register and payment is received before Sunday, September 4th, then the cost is $395.00 per player and $195.00 per single goalie (goalies wishing to double up will be required to pay the full league fee amount, as one less player will be placed on your team to ensure equal playing time). If your payment is received after Sunday, September 4th, then the cost is $430.00 per player and $230 per single goalie (goalies wishing to double up will be required to pay the full league fee amount, as one less player will be placed on your team to ensure equal playing time). All payments must be received NO LATER than September 25th.
Metro Classic Hockey League offers a payment plan that will qualify you for early payment status. In order to qualify for the payment plan you must make the following payments:
1st Payment of $100.00 is due on or before August 15, 2011
2nd payment of $140.00 is due on or before September 5, 2011
Final payment of remaining balance is due on or before September 25, 2011
Failure to meet this payment schedule will result in your early registration status being revoked, unless payment in full is made on or before September 4th.
All ice sessions for winter league will be booked October 19th, and any unpaid participants will not be given further consideration. The teams and ice slots will relate only to those players paid in full on or before the September 25th deadline. Team rosters and the Winter 2011-2012 schedule will be locked in October 26th.
All payment should be made by mail or securely on-line via PayPal.
The MCHL is for fun, Coed Non-Contact Hockey

You must be 18 years or older, or turning 18 during the season and have a signed parental consent agreement and league approval. All participants with *limited* or no hockey experience should consult with the Beginner League Instructor regarding their league registration and placement within the Beginner or Novice league. All players must sign a mandatory release of liability waiver form prior to any league participation.
Helmet visors or face masks are highly suggested. Players are advised to wear "some type" of facial protection, and will be required to have all helmet straps in working order. Any player that wishes to play without the advised facial protection will be covered under the mandatory release of liability waiver form, as it is the policy of the MCHL to provide all our participants with the opportunity to an equally safe playing environment.
All players may be subject to an evaluation skate prior to league play.
